Payment Terms

Who you are paying. The NovaEd licence or subscription is always supplied by Shanghai Novateur Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (上海诺华特管理咨询有限公司), trading as NovaEd, Office 628, Section B, 6th Floor, Building 13, No. 203 Wushebang Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201702, China. Unified Social Credit Code (tax registration number): 91310000MADQ8NCB7F. Shanghai Novateur Management Consulting Co., Ltd. is wholly owned by The Hype Collective, a South African private company, registration number 2019/266732/07, registered office 4 P Humiflora, Dana Bay, Mossel Bay, Western Cape, 6500, South Africa.

• Schools in mainland China pay Shanghai Novateur Management Consulting Co., Ltd. directly.
• Schools outside China pay CU3ED Design Agency (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2022/620981/07, NovaEd's international payment partner, 4 P Humiflora Road, Dana Bay, Mossel Bay, 6510, South Africa, which collects the payment on NovaEd's behalf. The service you receive is still NovaEd's.

What you can pay for

• A school licence or subscription for the NovaEd school platform.
• Assessment token packs (10, 50 or 200 tokens).
• Directory listing upgrades.

The item, price and currency are shown on the confirmation page before you pay. The price you see is the price you pay.

How you can pay

• Card, through PayFast.
• Alipay.
• Bank transfer, using the reference we give you. We switch your purchase on once we have seen the money arrive, normally within one working day.

When your purchase starts

Card and Alipay payments switch on automatically within moments of payment. Tokens appear in your school's account; licences and listings are activated on the school's workspace. If anything has not appeared after 30 minutes, contact support with your receipt number.

Receipts

Every payment has a receipt page showing the school, item, amount, method and date. A receipt is also emailed to the address you give.

Refunds

• Unused token packs, and any purchase not yet activated, can be refunded on request.
• Anything already used or activated cannot be refunded.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method.
• Any bank or payment-provider charges on a refund are paid by the party asking for the refund.

Tax invoices

Schools in China receive a fapiao (发票). Schools outside China receive a VAT invoice. Ask through Support with your receipt number and your school's legal name, address and tax number.

Governing law

For payments to Shanghai Novateur Management Consulting Co., Ltd., these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. For payments to CU3ED Design Agency (Pty) Ltd, they are governed by the laws of South Africa.
